Alleged members of the street gang Bloods will be able to contact each other for the time being
Alleged members of the street gang Bloods will be able to contact each other for the time being after a temporary restraining order was dismissed Monday. After nearly two-dozen alleged members of the street gang were ordered temporarily not to make contact with each other or congregate in the area of Northeast El Paso known as Devil’s Triangle, a county judge ordered that the temporary order was filed improperly and therefore void. The judge maintains the County Attorney’s office needs to get a bond from the County Commissioners Court or from the state Attorney General’s office."This is the nature of litigation, I mean you know what can I tell you, the judge, we filed an amended pleading we're ready to proceed and we are ready to proceed," said County Attorney Jose Rodriguez.Rodriguez will attempt to get reinstate the temporary restraining order with the needed bond in a hearing next week while he continues to fight for a permanent injunction banning the alleged members from contacting each other. In the meantime, the defendants are free to travel
