Gunmen forced their way into a northeast London home
Gunmen forced their way into a northeast London home, demanding cash and property before fleeing, police say. At about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, a 48-year-old resident at a Gatewood Place resident east of Adelaide Street and north of Huron Street answered a knock on the front door. When the resident opened the door, two men armed with handguns forced their way in and left with cash and undisclosed property. Two other residents were home at the time. No one was injured. The suspects are described as black, 20-30 years, five feet nine to five feet eleven inches tall, each with a thin build. One suspect was wearing grey and green three-quarter length coat and jeans. The other suspect was wearing a black balaclava over his face.
